Spreading Spirituality, Culture, & Charity services for the poor and underprivileged

Shree Subramania Seva Samaj

Shree Subramania Seva Samaj is a registered Public Charitable Trust devoted to promoting culture, spirituality, charitable service, and community welfare. Its activities include pujas, archanas, veda and rudram chanting, homams, and other rituals that preserve our faith for present and future generations.

Through community support, the Samaj has initiated the construction of a temple complex dedicated to Lord Kartikeya on land allotted by CIDCO in the Sanpada area of Navi Mumbai.

Commitment

Shree Subramania Seva Samaj aims to offer a year-round calendar of religious, cultural, and social programs. Funds raised through donations and events will be devoted to community services, ensuring long-term benefit to society.

Key Initiatives

Prasadam & Poor Feeding
Daily prasadam will be distributed to devotees and the underprivileged visiting the temple, ensuring no one leaves without receiving food and blessings.

Educate the Girl Child
The Samaj sponsors the education of 20–25 girl children annually from financially weaker families, supporting them from Standard 1 to Standard 10. Over five years, nearly 125 girls will benefit from this program. Scholarships are disbursed directly to selected schools.

Veda Classes & Library
A Vedic school will be established to train children in rituals and traditions, with accommodation provided for outstation students. This will help create a future pool of qualified priests. A library with spiritual and religious texts in Sanskrit, Hindi, English, and other languages will also be set up for community use.

Skill Development for Women
The Samaj will partner with government bodies to provide training in skills such as sewing, weaving, cooking, jewellery making, and small enterprise development. This initiative will empower underprivileged women to become self-reliant.

Community Programs
Events such as mass upanayanams and marriages will be organized, with the Samaj taking full responsibility for rituals, priests, and food arrangements—helping families uphold social and religious traditions.

Music & Dance Classes
Professional teachers will conduct training in Carnatic music, classical dance, and instrumental arts. This will encourage cultural learning while creating opportunities for students to become trainers themselves.

Healthcare & Saving Lives
Free health camps will be organized for early detection and treatment guidance. In the future, the Samaj also plans to support municipal hospitals, provide ambulance services, and extend healthcare to smaller towns and rural areas.

Discourses & Sanskrit Classes
Learned gurus will be invited for discourses on scriptures like Narayaniyam, Bhagavatam, and the Upanishads. Regular Sanskrit classes will also be conducted to preserve and propagate our cultural heritage.
