Kartikeya Swamy Temple, Sanpada
At the heart of Navi Mumbai, in the serene surroundings of Sanpada, a divine vision is unfolding — the construction of a magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Kartikeya, the valiant son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, with His consorts Valli and Devasena. Symbolizing youthful strength, wisdom, and grace, Lord Kartikeya will bless all seekers who come to this sacred abode.
Undertaken with devotion by Shree Subramania Seva Samaj and sanctified by the blessings of Parampujya Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamiji, the revered Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, the temple foundation was laid with a holy Bhoomi Pooja on 20th January 2017. From that moment, the vision of creating a spiritual and cultural landmark for Navi Mumbai has continued to grow with divine grace and community support.
Planned as a majestic three-storeyed complex, the temple will enshrine Lord Kartikeya at its heart, along with Lord Ganesha, Lord Ayyappa, Lord Hanuman, Lord Guruvayurappan, Devi, Shivalinga, and the Navagrahas. More than a place of worship, it is envisioned as a vibrant hub for devotion, culture, education, and service — where tradition is preserved, hearts are united, and dharma is lived in daily life.
This sacred space, rising through faith and collective effort, will stand as a beacon of spirituality, compassion, and cultural pride for generations to come.
A Sacred Call for Support
By the grace of the Divine, the first milestones of this temple have already been joyously achieved. The ground and first floors of the complex now stand complete, and the Utsava Murthy of Lord Kartikeya has been ceremoniously consecrated, filling the space with divine presence and blessings. Yet, the vision of this holy abode is still unfolding — awaiting its fullness through the continued devotion and contributions of the community.
To complete the remaining structure and bring to life the sanctums of all deities, as well as the halls for cultural and charitable service, we look to the collective strength of devotees, well-wishers, and seekers of dharma. Every offering, whether financial support or voluntary service, is a step toward shaping this temple into a beacon of spirituality and compassion.
